Terms & Conditions
1. Aims
Music in Unison’s aim is to provide the highest quality classes for all our customers.
We are committed to the safety of everyone who attends our lessons and to deliver the highest standard of service.
Participating in a Music in Unison class is entirely at your own risk without any proven negligence, breach of duty of care or lack of due diligence by Music in Unison. Your participation (or the participation of another adult who you have chosen to come in your place and care for your child throughout the Music in Unison session) and the participation of your child, is done so entirely at your and their own risk.
2. Bookings
Bookings should be placed by the adult who is intending to attend the class with the child. If the booking is placed on behalf of someone else Music in Unison is not liable for them being unable to attend. It is the responsibility of the person booking to ensure the intended recipient can attend all classes, before the booking is made. Gift vouchers are available if you are purchasing the course as a gift to someone else.
3. Payment
Payment is through our online booking system and payment is processed through our payment provider Stripe.
Your place will only be confirmed on full payment. When you pay by the online booking system you will be sent an automated confirmation with all your booking and course details. If this email is not received, it is your responsibility to contact Music in Unison to confirm that the booking has been processed.
4. Refunds
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers can request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase. This must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase. We cannot not offer you refunds for sickness and classes missed due to holidays. Please note that any refund will incur a £1 fee due to booking site and transaction costs.
5a. Cancellation of Classes
Under usual circumstances and in the unlikely event of a class being cancelled, the session will either be taken by another member of our team or you will be offered a catch-up session. If you are unable to make this catch-up session, a refund for that session will be offered.
5b. Cancellation of Classes due ot Covid 19
Music in Unison will always follow scientific, government and local advice. Following this guidance there may be cancellations made in accordance, response to, or relating to COVID 19 restrictions or guidance (such as the impact of test and trace or national or local regulations).
We will endeavour to provide the most reasonable and supportive solution for our customers. If Music in Unison needs to cancel your booking for any reason relating to Covid 19, our first priority will be to look to reschedule the activity for a later date.
6a. Twins Discount
Music in Unison offers a 50% twins discount for one adult participating with both children. Twins attending as siblings who are under 6 months can attend at no additional charge.
6b. Siblings Discount
Music in Unison offers a 50% siblings discount for one adult participating with both children. Siblings under 6 months can attend at no additional charge. Spaces for younger siblings of all ages must be booked in advance, whether you need to pay for their space or not.
7.Illness
If you or your child is ill, you must not attend class. If your illness is Covid related and you test positive, please contact me immediately, and I will follow the necessary process for track and trace, as appropriate.
8. Medical Conditions
We ask for you to disclose any medical conditions or allergies in the sign-up form that we require you to complete before attending our sessions.
10. Data Protection
Your information will be kept confidential by Music in Unison and will not be passed on to a third party, unless it is necessary for your participation in the course. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.
11. Additional Adults
When you book a course with Music in Unison it is based on 1 adult and 1 child per booking. We are unable to accommodate more than 1 adult attending even if you have booked to attend with a sibling or twins. If you would like two adults to attend, you must book an additional full price space. Please see our FAQ’s for more information.
12. Intellectual Property
All resources and songs used in our sessions are the Intellectual Property of Music in Unison ®. With this in mind, long form videos and recordings will not be permitted in our sessions.
13. Property and Belongings
Any property left in prams or bags is at the owner’s risk and is not the responsibility of Music in Unison.
14. Health & Safety
Our cleaning process at Music in Unison is committed and thorough, and the equipment that is used in sessions is routinely cleaned, checked and updated as appropriate. We promise you that you will have access to the highest quality resources for your session, to ensure we meet our aim of providing you the highest quality classes.
Risk Assessments are completed for each location prior to a class taking place there, and they are reviewed each term.

15. Class Etiquette
When you sign up to any of our services, you are agreeing to adhere to our Class etiquette requirements in order to ensure everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable experience. These are the conditions we need to continue to run high quality, educational classes and events for you & your family.
16. Changes to Terms & Conditions
From time to time, Music in Unison may update their terms and conditions. The most up to date version of our terms and conditions will be available through our website.
